rue d’Antibes, Cannes, France shopping

When Girlawhirl is in the south of France, on the Côte d’Azur, there’s no place that she’d rather shop than rue d’Antibes in Cannes. Famous for its film festival held each spring, Girlawhirl thought that she was familiar with Cannes and its Croisette from what she had seen on TV coverage of the festival. But after visiting, she found the rue d’Antibes…One year after Hurricane Katrina devastated the Gulf Coast region, Girlawhirl still feels as if she hasn’t done enough to help. Just because the rebuilding has begun, it doesn’t mean the battle is anywhere near over. And since New Orleans is so well known for its distinctive culture and food, Girlawhirl can’t think of a better way to continue to help than by enjoying a delicious meal, right in her own neighborhood—with the proceeds reaching all the way down south…
